Job Summary - Essential Functions

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Eastern League Double-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are currently searching for an experienced, proven leader with a track record of executing a vision to join an award-winning staff at Delta Dental Stadium as a Director of Ticket Sales and Service. This position will specialize in the sale of season ticket packages, group outings and hospitality spaces.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the year-over-year build and execution of the organization's season ticket, group sales and hospitality strategies

    • Oversees organizational ticket sales practices, trainings and processes

      • Continually train members of the department on sales and service best practices to maximize ticket sales

        • Work with leadership to create, evaluate and improve ticket sales inventory, pricing models and benefit offerings

          • Meet regularly with sales team one-on-one and in team settings to manage team's sales pipeline and motivate unique to the professional

            • Assist in agenda creation for departmental meetings, and ownership meetings

              • Set revenue goals for the department (weekly, monthly, yearly) and design tracking reports

                • Produce, analyze and communicate all necessary reports, including but not limited to: revenue reports, homestand hospitality & catering, campaign progress and hustle board (KPIs)

                  • Consistently utilize and curate the ticketing system data, CRM data and work hand-in-hand with the box office to generate leads for sales staff

                    • Maintain, distribute and monitor leads (campaign management) to ticket sales department

                      • Assist in creation and implementation of group theme nights and promotions with marketing team

                        • Recruit, train and develop team members of the Fisher Cats Sales Academy (two sessions annually)

                          • Approve and orchestrate ticket sales prospecting event strategy

                            • Attend community, chamber, and assist in sales events as needed

                              • Lead sales staff by example to help achieve overall revenue goals through active selling and spearheading of targeted departmental campaigns

                                • Ensuring the team meets and exceeds all established sales revenue goals while achieving personal KPIs as set by Vice President of Ticket Sales

                                  • Generate office and game day schedules for ticket sales department

                                    • Create and cultivate a world-class sales and client service culture

                                      • Assist with additional duties and tasks as assigned

                                        Required qualifications: A qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of prior experience in a ticket sales/service leadership role. This candidate should showcase an ability to motivate colleagues while effectively managing multiple projects at a given time. The leader should also have the confidence to execute a grand vision/plan to lead the ticket sales department and organization to achieve success year over year. Creating and maintaining a healthy and inclusive sales work culture is also essential. Ability to work holidays and weekends is mandatory.
