Plans and assigns work, implements and enforces company policies and procedures while recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
    • Manage the activities of the production floor by following established procedures and approved processes. Supervise all production operations such as machining, processing and assembly.
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion.
    • Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.
    • Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Motivates employees and assists with problem solving. Makes employment decisions. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
    • Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
    • Tracks employee performance, attendance, and time keeping. Conducts performance reviews, discipline, accident investigations, etc. Use technical expertise to train employees and develop most efficient methods of production.
    • Responsible for staffing the department and planning workload.
    • Work harmoniously with other departments and functional units in the coordination of work to drive productivity, providing a good example to employees.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:
      • High School Diploma or at least 5 years Manufacturing Supervisory experience. (Or the equivalent in relevant GSP experience.)
      • Must have prior manufacturing experience.
      • Knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, equipment, production scheduling and operations.
      • Ability to read and interpret drawings and customer specifications.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Time management, multitasking.
      • Problem solving and analysis skills.
      • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
