Position Title: Warranty Administrator

POSITIONDESCRIPTION:

The Warranty administrator closes and creates manufacturer's warrantyclaims, manage claims after submittal. Maintain claims in database. Prepareparts for return and track parts for manufacturer. Prepare and send out excelreports.

1. Understand,communicate, and evaluate all vendor and International warranty guidelines,approval process and policies.

2. Administer manufacturer's warrantyclaims.

3. Maintain claims in database.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCEMEASURES:

• Prepare and final invoice business system repair orders, for all branches.
• Process and finalize claims for respective manufacture. Transmit claims to manufacturer.
• Keep warranty claims database up-to-date.
• Run manufacturer reports and correct claims.
• Prepare documentation for parts return inspections.
• Maintain business system and manufactures systems.
• Maintain claim files.
• Prepare and input data in monthly reports.
• Provide assistance for administrator. --- Assistwith other projects as needed
  
  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  --- Highschool degree required.
  --- Somecollege accounting is preferred.
  --- Dependabilityand attention to detail.
  --- Abilityto learn quickly and to work independently.
  --- Mustmeet deadlines.
  --- Planningand organization skills; an ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
  --- Excellentanalytical and communication skills
  --- Knowledgeof typing and use of 10-key calculator
  --- Abilityto use various computer software, in a Windows environment
  
  PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTALCONDITIONS:
  
  Thisposition is located primarily in the office environment. Mobility of walking, standing and bending is frequent.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required tosit, talk, listen and use vision or corrected vision. The employee isoccasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to operate, handle, orfeel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Travel may be required.
