Emergency Room Registrar - Part Time, Night

Job Description:

This position is responsible for registration of patients entering the emergency department and some other areas of the hospital for outpatient services; Is responsible for gathering all demographic and insurance data into the medical software. Understands and can prepare all necessary forms for registration. Follows all privacy guidelines. Communicates effectively with patients and clinical staff to insure proper care of all patients.

Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or GED. Experience :
- One year experience in a hospital, medical office or insurance company.
- Computer experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Able to work independently within assigned guidelines. Licensure/Certification:
  - None
