Job Description:

Mobius Mobility manufactures and distributes the next generation iBOTPersonal Mobility Device a breakthrough product in the field of personal mobility. With dynamic stabilization technology, the ability to climb stairs, and four distinct driving modes, the iBOT provides people with disabilities new levels of independence and access. At Mobius, we are committed to helping our clients reach, climb, and go wherever and whenever they choose.

Summary:

  • Conducts repairs on devices in the field which require service and develops service procedures
  • Supports company activities related to manufacturing, product testing, and delivery to users
  • Assists supplier assistive technology professionals (ATP) in configuring custom user seating

Responsibilities:

  • Provides responsible repair services to our customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Performs final system integration and testing
  • Assists Supplier ATP's with specific assembly/modification requests
  • Develops and maintains procedures for device servicing
  • Conducts troubleshooting and repairs on devices returned for service and in the field
  • Keeps good documentation practice (GDP) of service performed and required complaint handling per approved QA documentation
  • Utilizes CRM software to document, manage and track service issues and user complaints
  • Performs other special projects or duties as determined by management

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a technical service role, involving customer facing activities
  • Previous experience using hand and/or power tools required
  • Servicing of electromechanical equipment or devices
  • Medical device experience preferred, previous experience working with the disability community a plus
  • Must be able to perform all aspects of driving and testing an iBOT
  • Must be able to bend, twist, and reach frequently, must be able to lift 75lbs. frequently
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work and problem solve independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when provided with sensitive information
  • Ability to diagnose problems and see the solutions through to completion
  • Ability to think quickly to handle unique situations
  • Must be detail, safety, and quality oriented
  • Use of Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Good computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Internally and Externally
  • Ability to work as part of a team and drive toward departmental and company goals
  • Be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends
  • Requires approximately 60% travel

Education:

  • AS degree or equivalent with engineering discipline preferred
