Job Description Needed Immediately: Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Manchester, NH area.The Manufacturing Engineer will help in implementing manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products, improve volume and velocity to meet customer demand, and creates a better work environment for our employees.You will need to have a working knowledge of tool design and fabrication methods, project management ability, an intense commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards. You will also establish measurement standards for sustainability and growth to ensure our production lines work efficiently and effectively.Required:5+ years previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar roleKnowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool designFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniquesCommitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulationsWell-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office)Project management skillsRoot cause & problem-solving abilitiesTeamwork skillsAbility to occasionally work late shiftsDegree in Engineering; post-graduate degree is a plusSix Sigma / Lean certification a plus (Green Belt is fine, Black Belt is a plus)Job Details:Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speedStudy production and machine requirementsDevelop and test effective automated and manual systemsDesign and install equipmentOrganize and manage manufacturing workflows and resourcesIntegrate disparate systems (e.g. equipment handling, transport)Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performanceResolve issues and delays in productionFind ways to reduce costs and maximize qualityTrain staff in new and existing processesCollaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliersEnsure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulationsUpgrade systems and processes with new technology Login to save this search and get notified of similar positions.
