WestBridge is currently offering a sign-on bonus for all clinical positions!The Residential Lead Clinician is responsible, personally or through appropriate delegation, for clinical supervision of the residential team. The Residential Lead Clinician acts as a role model for maintaining the structure of the clinical program and promoting an environment of recovery that embraces accountability and authentic communication. The Lead Clinician works in conjunction with the Residential Coordinator and Residential Director to ensure that participants and families are the recipients of the clinical care that is directed by their Personal Achievement Agenda. The residential program provides assistance to individuals to maximize their recovery, ensure consumer-directed goal setting, assist the individual served to gain hope and a sense of empowerment, and provide assistance in helping the individuals served become respected and valued members of their family and community.RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Clinical duties are based on scope of practice and experience; they could include but are not limited to evaluation, assessment, individual and group counseling, Family Education and Support, clinical updates, and case management for individuals and their families. Upholds the modified-therapeutic community principles, serves as a role model and demonstrates accountability and clinical integrity.Supports the facilitation of change of shift to model clear communication, guide clinical interventions and ensure that programming occurs as scheduled.Provides clinical supervision to masters-level residential staff, and when applicable, licensed or license-eligible staff. Work collaboratively with other members of the team to design, implement, and revise clinical intervention strategies based on stage of change.Actively Participates in open, direct, solution-focused communication with participants, families and team members.Maintains compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA and 42 CFR part II.Documents all services provided in accordance with WestBridge policy and standards.Work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7:30-3:30, with one weekend worked/month, and will collaborate with the team for holiday coverage. Participation in the clinical on-call rotation, to include weeknights and rotating weekends.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this position successfully, you must perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Licensed Masters-level clinician (LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC, etc). Knowledge obtained in appropriate discipline from accredited institution.Skill and experience in staff management and/or supervision; preferably two years' experience in providing clinical supervision/eligibility to provide supervision for licensure.Skill in client assessment, including the use and withdrawal from substances, change in mental status, physical health and safety.Knowledge and experience in the treatment of mental illness and substance-use, preferably co-occurring. Experience in the delivery of evidence-based practice desired. Skill and experience in residential treatment. Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations governing confidentiality.Knowledge of local, state and federal program administration regulations.Skill in working and communicating with others as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and ethical behavior that will enhance the quality of care and encourage positive interactions among staff.Valid drivers' license and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage of: 100,000 bodily injury per person/300,000 bodily injury per accident/100,000 property damage.Computer skills including but not limited to, Internet access, word processing, report writing and spreadsheet applications necessary to generate appropriate reports allocated to the position of Residential Team Leader.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
