Job Summary

Responsible for managing the strategic direction, and deployment of Talent system, vendor and technology initiatives. Ensures the planning and execution of all activities are directly aligned with allocated budget and business commitments. May manage a team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget. Manage the processes and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

+ Manages the relationship with business stakeholders to identify products, vendors and technical requirements. Conducts and/or reviews needs analysis to determine requirements.

+ Manages daily reporting operations and planning.

+ Provides leadership for developing platform strategies.

+ Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

+ Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.

+ Evaluates the major costs, risks and benefits of alternatives before making recommendations.

+ Provides a consistent, independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

+ Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.

+ Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.

+ Design and build technical processes to address business issues.

+ Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.

+ Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.

+ Utilizes internal programs to continue to develop team members including development plans, recommended learning and mentoring.

+ Recommends and implements workflow processes to human resources partners as needed.

+ Vet technology platforms to ensure adherence to compliance standards

+ Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.

+ Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

+ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Responsibilities

+ Strong Workday HCM Reporting, Security and analytic experience supporting Talent Acquisition / Talent Mgmt functions

+ Experience building predictive analytic models.

+ Strong data-orientation with the ability to process ambiguous and/or seemingly conflicting data or information to create "one version of the truth" , by combining data from multiple reports.

+ Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, etc.
