Job Description:

SCHEDULED HOURS: 40 hours/week (M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)

PROGRAM: CSP Manchester

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Oversee all operations of program including budget management, interaction with funder, developing marketing plans, and independent decision making for program requiring clinical expertise. Provides clinical consultation, oversight of case planning, care coordination, and supervision to the staff. Responsible for an assigned caseload if applicable to program.

Intervention: Provides range of brief, focused prevention, treatment and recovery services for clients.

Resource Management: Reviews budget reports; works with fiscal staff to create budgets and tracks status of budget throughout the course of the year.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.

Insures clients receive treatment services that are focused on presenting problem and clients request for service.

Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.

Provides clinical direction and leadership within the Team.

Evaluates staff and initiates and follow through on progressive discipline, if needed.

Insures timely completion of reports and data on performance indicators, DMHAS/DCF standards, program enrollment, incident/accidents, etc.

Oversees completion of chart audits and ensures needed documentation.

Ensures completion of insurance authorization for services rendered as necessary.

Responsible for hiring staff.

Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.

Provide on sight coverage for other programs when needed

Develop and executes marketing plan for program as needed

Provides training, and case consultation.

On call coverage during and after program hours as assigned.

Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.

Participates in committees to improve agency service delivery and quality improvement.

Responsible for program budgets and productivity expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s in mental health related field.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Clinician. Two years of clinical supervisory experience or management in a behavioral health setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW required in state of CT.
