Job Description:
Clean Harbors, North America’s leading provider of
environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a
dedicated Driver, Class A Dry to join our transportation team. In
this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and
compliant transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
throughout the region to disposal sites and service centers. The
position requires a commitment to safety, a high level of
reliability, and strong adherence to regulatory and company
standards. As a member of our team, you play an integral part in
supporting our mission to protect the environment through
responsible disposal and treatment of hazardous materials. Operate
Class A dry trucks to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste
whilst adhering to company policies and safety procedures. Manage
daily logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance with DOT
regulations. Participate in loading and unloading procedures,
ensuring that all materials are handled in a secure and compliant
manner. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the company
vehicle and report any issues or repairs needed. Collaborate with
dispatch coordinators to update on travel routes, delays, or any
logistical issues encountered. Adhere to all environmental laws and
regulations regarding waste transportation. Provide outstanding
customer service during pickups and deliveries, ensuring a positive
company image. Strong driving and navigational skills. Excellent
understanding and adherence to safety and compliance guidelines.
Good physical fitness and ability to handle physical workload
involved in loading and unloading. Effective communication and
rapport-building skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
and Tanker endorsements. Clean driving record required.
