Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective
services, seeks a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join
our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and
security of our clients properties, ensuring an environment where
businesses, employees, and the community can thrive. As part of our
team, you will have the opportunity to work for a company
recognized globally for its comprehensive security solutions,
ranging from traditional guarding to innovative technology
integration. Perform site-specific security procedures as outlined
by Securitas to protect client property and personnel. Monitor the
premises, using CCTV systems and patrol routes to deter and detect
signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and
gates. Write comprehensive reports detailing any occurrences during
the shift and provide incident reports in cases of security
breaches. Maintain a visible presence on the site that deters
safety and security threats. Respond promptly to incidents and
emergencies according to Securitas protocols. Operate security
equipment and use technology systems as necessary. Ensure
compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to
site security operations. Ability to handle typical and crisis
situations efficiently and effectively. Strong observational skills
and detail-oriented. Good communication skills including written
and verbal abilities. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks while
maintaining high safety standards. Capability to operate security
devices and equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life
Insurance 401k State-required security officer license. First Aid,
CPR, and AED certification are preferred but not required upon hire
(training will be provided). Completion of any Securitas or
industry-specific training will be considered an asset.
