Mobile Application Analyst I - Information Technology, Full Time, Days

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Mobile Application Analyst will provide design, configuration, testing, implementation and ongoing maintenance of new and existing mobile software solutions (e.g. Apps). The analyst will provide training and support to end-users for all mobile apps. They will configure new users, business units, roles and teams to meet ongoing operations requests. S/he analyst will ensure optimal application performance and availability on managed mobile devices and will support enhancements in the application and the clinical workflow to streamline communications for caregivers. The analyst will assist with repairs and distribution of mobile devices used in the facility. S/he will work with system network analyst, in coordination of WiFi assessment and remediation to achieve optimal performance and best end-user experience. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts a subject matter expert for iOS/Android operation, delivery and support
  • Expertise in MDM (mobile device management) configuration and deployment
  • Knowledgeable in wireless networking and able to collaborate with Network Analysts on WiFi performance
  • Conduct Device firmware and OS upgrades for mobile hardware
  • Assist in repairs and distribution of mobile devices
  • Ensure optimal application performance and availability of mobile devices
  • Coordinate with business partners to define scope and objectives of the requirements and successfully manage the technical implementation
  • Evaluate mobility tools as necessary to better manage integrations with other supporting systems
  • Utilizes deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity.
  • Support new integration of Mobile Apps with core Clinical Applications
  • Assist in testing, design and workflows related to mobile applications
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Solves complex technical problems in own discipline.
  • Tracks and Monitors problem tickets to insure timely resolution.
  • On-Call as needed
  • Contributing to departmental operating plans.
  • May be asked to complete additional tasks as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively and respectfully with diverse personalities
    • Enthusiastic about representing information systems interests to fellow providers
    • System thinker with operational knowledge of the clinical practice setting
    • Flexible with high tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities.
    • Ability to work successfully in a matrix management environment Qualifications Education :
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System is required Licensure/Certifications :
        • MS Certification Preferred Experience :
          • iOS/Android operations, development, delivery, and support
          • Configuration/system analysis in healthcare technology solutions
          • Healthcare information technology experience
          • Basic Knowledge of Swift/Java/Objective C a plus
          • Airwatch
          • Level I Up to three years experience with configuration and support of mobile apps
          • Level II Four or more years experience with configuration and support of mobile apps
          • Level III Seven or more years experience with configuration and support of mobile apps A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements
