Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Portsmouth, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,681 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 03801! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac, Vascular and Thoracic Operating Room experience Punctuality with a 30-minute call back time Flexible schedule Description: The surgical unit has 3 operating room suites and a staff of 11. There are 1 charge nurse, 3 or 4 RNs, 2 Scrub Techs, and 1 Aide or Anesthesia Tech on day shifts. The night shift consists of a 3-member call team. Patient ratios are 3 staff members per operating room. Typical procedures include CABG, valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, and angiograms with interventions. The unit also covers level 2 trauma for all vascular and thoracic procedures. Looking for candidates who are self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible. Time-off requests must comply with unit policies. Call requirements are approximately one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week. The surgical team consists of long-term members who have significant experience. The location offers both access to the seacoast and proximity to major urban and outdoor destinations.
