Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center, renowned for its commitment to holistic
healthcare, seeks a PRN Cardiac Medical Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our dedicated Cardiac care team. This position offers the
opportunity to work as needed across various cardiac care units,
providing direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients with
cardiovascular health issues. The right candidate will possess the
expertise to manage complex patient care involving treatment plans
and education for patients and their families in a supportive,
faith-based environment. Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac
patients in a hospital setting, observing and recording patient
behavior and responses. Administer medications, monitor vital
signs, and participate in the formulation and implementation of
patient treatment plans. Communicate effectively with cardiologists
and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care
coordination. Educate patients and their families about heart
health, disease management, and wellness strategies. Participate in
professional development and intra-departmental meetings to
maintain and enhance nursing skills. Strong clinical skills with a
focus on cardiac care. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work flexibly across different cardiac units.
Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification is highly
desirable.
