Job Description:

Clinical Nurse II in our Labor and Delivery / Antepartum unit. In
this role, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate
and specialized care to expectant mothers during both antepartum
and labor phases. This position calls for a skilled nursing
professional who is adept at balancing high technical skills with
empathetic patient care, in adherence with our commitment to
excellence in medical education, research, and patient outcomes.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in the antepartum and
labor phases, ensuring patient and fetal well-being. Monitor fetal
heart rate and maternal vital signs, interpreting data to determine
necessary care. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor
responses. Support patients and families through labor with
emotional and informational guidance. Coordinate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Document
all patient interactions and care provided in medical records
accurately. Advanced skills in fetal monitoring and labor support
Proficiency in using medical software for patient care
documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability
to respond effectively to emergencies Competence in administering
medication and understanding pharmacological impacts Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certification in Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) preferred Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing
(RNC-OB) is an advantage
