Job Description We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a Hospitalist opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont . This role offers the chance to practice comprehensive inpatient medicine in a collaborative hospital environment serving a close-knit community. Location Brattleboro Position Overview Specialty: Hospitalist (Internal Medicine / Family Medicine) Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine EMR: Cerner Procedures: None required Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team ??? Clinical Responsibilities Manage hospital admissions, daily rounding, and discharges Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Provide ventilator management Respond to codes and rapid response situations Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Coordinate care with specialists, emergency physicians, respiratory therapy, CRNAs, and nursing teams Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up Participate in clinical rounds, hospital committees, and quality initiatives Practice Environment Support from specialists and ancillary teams Surgeons available for procedures such as central lines Collaborative, team-based inpatient care model Focus on high-quality, patient-centered treatment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and market factors Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and holidays CME allowance with dedicated CME time Malpractice coverage Life and disability insurance Employee assistance programs Relocation assistance available J-1 visa sponsorship support ? Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Vermont medical license required DEA required prior to start BLS and ACLS certifications Ventilator management experience Experience running codes Clean malpractice history NPDB Self Query report required at presentation Candidates must live within one hour of the hospital ? Preferred Qualifications 2–3 years of Hospitalist experience Rural healthcare experience ?
