Job Description:
You will start with 1 day a week and progress to more hours -
Any day from M/T/ Th/F to choose from. Job Overview We are seeking
a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental
team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and
a strong understanding of dental practices. This role involves
providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients
on oral health, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health
regulations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental
cleanings and assessments for patients, ensuring optimal oral
health. Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for patient
documentation and record management. Conduct patient assessments,
including vital signs and medical history reviews. Assist in
pediatric dentistry procedures, employing four-handed dentistry
techniques. Provide chairside assistance during various dental
procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. Educate
patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of
regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records in
compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to
ensure a safe environment for patients. Stay updated on dental
terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and
improve overall clinic efficiency. Qualifications Valid state
license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental
office or clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and patient care
standards. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and
infection control measures. Excellent communication skills, both
verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients
effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
while demonstrating professionalism at all times. Join us in
