Job Description:
Hebrew SeniorLife, a nonprofit organization associated with
Harvard Medical School and committed to the care, research, and
education of senior health, is seeking a dedicated Clinical
Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. The candidate will
play a critical role in developing personalized nutrition plans and
ensuring the dietary needs of our senior residents are met to
support their health and well-being. This position offers the
opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on innovating
geriatric care while contributing to research and educational
projects. Assess nutritional needs and diet restrictions of senior
residents to develop personalized nutrition plans. Collaborate with
healthcare providers to coordinate dietary interventions and
monitor outcomes. Educate residents and their families on healthy
eating habits and nutritional guidelines. Participate in
interdisciplinary team meetings to provide insights on resident
care plans. Contribute to research and community educational
sessions as part of ongoing projects at Hebrew SeniorLife. Document
assessments and interventions in patient medical records accurately
and promptly. Strong understanding of geriatric nutrition and
dietary management. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
Proficiency in nutritional assessment tools and software. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified by the Commission
on Dietetic Registration. Licensed Dietitian status in
Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure).
