Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work on D100 Med-Surg/Tele unit with 47 beds /n• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 on day shifts and 1:5 on night shifts /n• Care for med-surg telemetry patients with moderate acuity, including vascular and bariatric patients /n• Work with equipment including Alaris Pumps, bladder scanners, Atrium chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, and vein finders /n• Use Sunrise EMR system /n• Work every other weekend /n• Floating to other med-surg telemetry units as needed /n• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, and ACLS /n• Telemetry experience required - candidates without telemetry skills will not be considered /n• Preferred experience: Bariatric and cardiac experience /n• Dress code: Scrubs in any color /n• Work alongside charge nurses, LNAs, monitor technicians, and secretaries /n• Not a procedural unit /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive med-surg telemetry unit with 47 beds and a full complement of 65 staff members.
