Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery position requiring circulation for C-sections and Epic charting experience. Responsibilities Work in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting Average delivery volume is approximately 2100 deliveries per year Level 3 NICU available on site This is not an LDRP unit Circulation for C-sections is required Uses Epic for documentation; Epic experience required Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00pm-7:30am) Weekend requirement is every other weekend No on-call responsibilities Float to Maternity/Mother-Baby units as needed Will be responsible for high-risk obstetric patient care and intraoperative circulation in C-section cases Collaborates with OB and family practice physicians who have delivery privileges No hospital-employed providers or laborists Orientation consists of 24 hours: one day Healthstream assignments, two days on unit Team environment with support from MFM outpatient consultants and NICU staff Scrubs may be any color References required for consideration with two preferred No more than 5 days of requested time off per 13-week contract Not accepting first-time travelers Requirements Active RN license required (NH or Compact) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Charge nurse experience required Experience circulating for C-sections required Epic charting experience required Current AHA or Red Cross BLS and certifications required Must pass an EKG test on arrival Applicants must not have ever been a former employee at any Solution Health facility Candidates within 50 miles accepted at a local rate Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-599653.
