• Employment Type: TravelNumber of Beds - 4 in Annex (a secure locked psychiatric area holding for placement) 25 procedure rooms (rooms with curtains or doors) 8 hallway beds (utilized 24/7) - Number of Staff - 88 (combined job titles) Patient Ratios - 4:1 (flexibility in times of acute surge) - Type of equipment - U/S IV skills, Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis - EMR - Sunrise/ Allscripts - Patient Population - Multiple comorbidities, NEHI (New England Heart Institute) patients- complicated heart conditions, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, StrokeMust have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - At least 2 years ED experience for contract labor - BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for contract labor - Adaptability - Strong communication skills with patients and peers - Strong assessment skills - Dependability and punctuality - Strong critical thinking skills - Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators)Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. - At least one year ED experience for HCA hired staff - BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC for HCA hired staff - Strong understanding of EKG interpretationList typical procedures performed on unit(s): - Trauma - Stroke Care - Laceration repair - Orthopedic trauma - U/S IV insertion - IO insertion - Eye exam - EKG - Psychiatric care - Cardiopulmonary careUnited Staffing Solutions Job ID #901211.
