  • Job Details
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years - Fast pace ER with a strong PEDS presence, experience with PEDS population highly preferred
  • Traveler Experience: First time travelers NOT ACCEPTED
  • Epic experience required
  • Skills: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Triage
  • Patient Diagnoses: All chief complaints and diagnoses ranging from simple to complex across the lifespan to include various conditions such as minor cuts, fractures, abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, oncological emergencies, neurological emergencies, trauma, psychiatric emergencies, abuse/assault/neglect evaluations, substance use disorder, GI/GU/OB, sepsis, etc.
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Conscious sedation, Trauma Alert/Activation, Stroke Alert, Cath Lab Activation, SANE Consultation
  • SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Point of Care US/USGPIV, EPOC, Belmont, Ranger, Teleneurology
  • UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Epic, SBAR, Voalte
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours - 1 week class/clinical time
  • SCRUBS: Any color
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC
    • Preferred: Pediatric experience
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7:30a, 36 or 48 hours
      • Call Requirement: None
      • Float Requirement: Floating Expectations - Helping Hands/ Team Nursing approach, Will assist in being Floated to ICU and ED for helping hands, Patient Sitting
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

          • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: rate decrease for travelers that live within 50 miles of facility
          • Travelers are not considered if they have ever been a former employee at any facility associated with SolutionHealth regardless of length of separation or duration of time worked at health system
