Bluebird Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire.Job Description & Requirements

No call, Floating to similar units is required. *Reduced rates for local travelers apply* Holiday RTO: If contracted during all 3 major winter holidays, at least 2/3 holidays will need to be worked. Approved Holiday RTO will be dependent on unit's availability Daily Census= 36 (25 rooms/41 beds). Ratios: 1:5-6 on Nights/ weekends. Serving Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics. Accudose, EPIC, SBAR used. Certifications Required: BCLS (preferred ACLS, CPI). Skills Required: Telemetry. Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years. Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: NO Epic Charting Experience is required! Patient Diagnoses: post surgical- General surgery: orthopedic surgeries, Trauma, post op infections, Thoracic surgeries, Vascular surgeries, spine surgeries. Medical diagnosis: cellulitis, diverticulitis, GI bleed, Etoh, Abd pain, abcesses. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Fuller unit has 41 beds We are primarily post-op and trauma patients. We have a level 2 trauma center so we keep most of the trauma patients as well as receive patients from other facilities. we have 22 beds with telemetry. Our staff are basic dysrhythmia trained. The Resource nurse's are required to have ACLS. We have a RRN on every shift for leadership support. We also have LNA's to support the patients and nursing staff. One LNA for every 12-15 patients. We utilize tele sitters fort those patients not quite needing a 1:1. Special Equipment: no lift equipment, Bux traction, chest tubes, external fixators, telemetry. Orientation: 24hrs.
