  Minimum Years of Experience: 2years experience - Fast pace ER with a strong PEDS presence, experience with PEDS population highly preferred
  Traveler Experience: Unit accepts first time travelers
  Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: rate decrease for travelers that live within 50 miles of facility
  Skills: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Triage, Epic experience
  Certs: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC
  
  PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Pediatric experience

  WEEKENDS ONLY - Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  Helping Hands/ Team Nursing approach
  Will assist in being Floated to ICU and ED for helping hands
  Patient Sitting
  You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team
  Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

  -Minor cuts and scrapes
  -Fractures
  -Abdominal Pain
  -Chest Pain
  -Shortness of Breath/Respiratory Concerns
  -Oncological Emergencies
  -Neurological Emergencies
  -Trauma
  -Psychiatric Emergencies
  -Abuse/Assault/Neglect Evaluations
  -Substance Use Disorder
  -GI/GU/OB
  -Sepsis
  
  
  SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: -Conscious sedation
  -Trauma Alert/Activation
  -Stroke Alert
  -Cath Lab Activation
  -SANE Consultation
  
  
  SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: -Point of Care US/USGPIV
  -EPOC
  -Belmont
  -Ranger
  -Teleneurology
  
  
  UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Epic, SBAR, Voalte
  
  
  
  UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours - 1 week class/clinical time
