Job Description:

Unit have vascular and ortho experience
Unit OR
*Candidates with no Licensure or Background hits are only considered for this opening
- # suites: 10 total 2 CVOR, 7 General surg, 1 Hybrid
- # of cases per day : On average 25-35 per day. Scheduled and add on.
- Required Certifications: BLS, CNOR preferred
- Common Cases: Cardiac, vascular, endovascular, general surgery- most of it is urgent/
emergent, ortho (total joints) and ortho trauma, spine, urology. Robotics Davinci and Maco for
total knees.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Vascular experience is required as it is a requirement to take
call.
- Scrubbing required RN's : Preferred to have scrubbing experience.
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: 1 Charge for each side
- OR techs : Typically 9-10 on per day on general side. 4 For CVOR
- EMR: Allscripts
- Shifts & Scheduling: General or 0645-1515 or 1715 8, 10, or 12 hours, refer travelers to work
8. CVOR is 10 hours only starting 0600.
- Weeknight/Call Requirement : From end of shift 1 night required to stay until 7 and one
night required to stay until 9- those two days in a 6 week time period.
- Weekend/Call Requirement: 1 Friday and 1 Saturday night in the 6 week period 7pm- 7am.
- Holiday/Call Requirement : May be required to take holidays
- Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement: Yes
- What is call response time: 30 minutes
- Floating Requirements: None
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: hospital provided. Also provided with a locker.
