Position Description:

Builds new tools that will improve investment process. Supports personal bond management products using Agile frameworks -- business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, and end user certification. Delivers technology solutions, using Jira Align and Jira. Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. Uses business knowledge to perform project management for technology projects. Works with end-users to coordinate product development and support. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues. Establishes full project life cycle plans for one or more complex projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Conducts quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data.

Analyzes financial or operational performance to identify or recommend remedies.

Uses a data-focused approach to develop solutions from strategic objectives.

Applies portfolio management, trading, and research to improve the investment process.

Elicits, captures, and interprets customer problems from multiple perspectives across projects or within a program.

Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic perspective influencing project parameters and outcomes.

Envisions and creates solutions that meet the requirements of the business.

Converts internal requirements into workable project documents and process enhancements.

Contributes to the estimation, planning, and analysis of projects.

Maintains requirements backlog.

Fosters and champions innovative technology solutions to resolve complex business problems.

Establishes and project manages analysis plans for multiple complex work steams.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Business Administrative, Economics, Computational Finance, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience performing fixed income business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, and end user certification in an Agile environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Business Administrative, Economics, Computational Finance, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing fixed income analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, and end user certification in an Agile environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) managing fixed income investment technology projects -- work requirements, stories, and epics according to Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, using Atlassian Agile suite (JIRA, JIRA ALIGN, and Confluence); and supporting project, communication, and business risk management -- process mapping and improvements -- for fixed income business and technology projects.

DE monitoring, evaluating, and updating team's progress against acceptance criteria, using JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence; working with business and technology partners to ensure integration and coordination of development and deliver strategies to ensure continuous communication with stakeholders, using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

DE analyzing and querying data required to support the creation of use cases used in building the functional specifications from approved business requirements, using SQL and MS Excel.

DE defining the strategic roadmap for a product -- end-to-end product delivery and feature delivery tradeoffs of the product -- according to Agile methodologies, using JIRA and Confluence; and leading a team to define, plan, and execute clear product visions.

Salary: $122,221.00-$148,700.00/year.
