Job Description:
Position Description: *Applicants are permitted to work from an at home work site in
the United States* Develops APIs with large scale, highly available Enterprise
class platforms. Performs data warehouse modeling using Snowflake
platform. Develops software applications, using Continuous
Integrations/Continuous Development (CI/CD) and DevOps best
practices in an Agile environment. Uses business knowledge to
translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business
solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications
and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends
changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and
strategies to development experts and management. Primary Responsibilities: Participates in architecture design teams. Defines and implements application level architecture. Develops applications on complex projects, components, and
subsystems for the division. Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects
across multiple platforms. Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for
multiple projects. Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various
project/technology issues. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical
evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing Oracle databases focused on Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) systems, within an operational data store (ODS),
data warehousing, and Software as a Service (Saas) environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing Oracle databases
focused on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, within
an operational data store (ODS), data warehousing, and Software as
a Service (Saas) environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing backend
applications according to business user requirements using Oracle
PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting; bulk loading data into an
Operational Data Store (ODS) using Oracle SQL*Loader, Oracle
import/export, or Oracle external tables; job scheduling through
Control-M; and designing and implementing Extract, Transform, and
Load (ETL) process by developing mappings and workflows, using
Informatica. DE performing production problem resolution and SQL performance
tuning for customer facing databases; performing data analysis,
data modeling and data warehousing using Snowflake; and leading
code reviews, bug resolution in code, integration, and performance
testing. DE performing data profiling, mining, specification, extraction,
cleansing, and analysis for large data warehouses, using Oracle and
Spark; designing conceptual and physical data models and generating
visual insights using Oracle SQL reports and Tableau for business
