Job Description:
Position Description: Designs, develops, maintains and supports various
customer-facing and middleware applications. Supports the
development of applications using Spring Framework -- Spring MVC,
Spring Boot, and Spring Batch. Performs RESTful API design and
development. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for
strategic initiatives into business solutions by developing complex
or multiple software applications and conducting studies of
alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project
development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to
technical leads, architects and management. Primary Responsibilities: Defines and architects software solutions in a fast-paced and
highly flexible environment. Rapidly prototypes new concepts, technologies, and development
methods. Participates and leads architectural design discussions with the
architects and technical team leads. Collaborates with multiple autonomous scrum teams, assisting
with all aspects of delivery (Coding, Quality, and DevOps) Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for
projects. Improves test coverage, release velocity, and production
health. Works closely with multiple global Agile teams and contributes
to improving engineering practices for the organization. Supports the test automation community -- provides leadership
and governance assistance to ensure high quality software
automation test solutions. Support the Test Automation community, providing them leadership
and governance assistance to ensure the highest quality of software
automation testing solutions. Advises senior management on technical strategy. Mentors junior team members. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing and implementing emerging technologies in financial and
high-tech environments. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing and implementing
emerging technologies in financial and high-tech environments. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) defining front end UI development
strategies using Angular. DE architecting and designing secure external Web applications
resistant to OWASP vulnerabilities and defining these applications
using secure access technologies -- JWT. DE architecting and designing innovative Java-based full stack
applications to solve complex business problems using AWS services
(EKS, EC2, S3, and Lambda) and containers (Docker). DE architecting and designing Cloud-based RESTful Web services
