Job Description:

Analyzes and measures the incremental impact of investment campaigns using statistical techniques -- ANOVA and ANCOVA. Builds predictive models, using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms. Develops business solutions through data analytics and interactive visualizations to deliver strategic, insightful, and actionable recommendations that assist in making financial decisions for clients. Draws on in-depth knowledge of the business of function to provide business-unit wide solutions. Owns and drives analytics and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

Translates and incorporates business visions and strategy to ML strategy recommendations at a functional level.

Works as a subject matter expert for Machine Learning (ML) and advanced analytics within marketing measurement and analytics.

Serves as a consultative partner to stakeholders across marketing, thought leadership, product, client management, and media teams.

Stays abreast of analytics best practices, macro-level trends, and new tools in data analytics.

Develops and presents POVs and strategic recommendations to maintain and advance the firms leadership in respective industries.

Reports findings to senior executives.

Liaises with stakeholders to build and maintain marketing and analytics database frameworks.

Performs multi-channel marketing attribution to understand the importance of marketing channel in cross-channel marketing environments.

Creates marketing experiments and measures specific outcomes.

Consults on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives for the business unit.

Sets vision, goals, and direction of team/organization.

Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives.

Regularly provides guidance, training, and coaching to other team members for performance and development.

Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects.

Consults on deployment of major project deliverables.

Consults on the documentation of major technology application.

Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional or company architectural components.

Influences colleagues and business stakeholders for the adoption of analytics and ML.

Owns projects right from ideation to implementation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience performing ad hoc data mining and predictive modeling to support distribution strategies for customer relationship management (CRM) within a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience performing ad hoc data mining and predictive modeling to support distribution strategies for customer relationship management (CRM) within a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing marketing measurement and analytics -- measuring incremental effect and lift of marketing experiments and campaigns, using Oracle, SQL, R, Python, ANOVA, and ANCOVA; and performing return on investment (ROI) analysis and marketing campaigns within the financial services industry, using statistical methods and hypothesis tests (T-test, A/B Testing, ANOVA, and ANCOVA) and database and analytical tools (Oracle SQL, R, and Python).

DE performing data analytics and storyboarding -- performing exploratory data analysis and customer profiling and segmentation -- mining one billion rows of on-and-offline clickstream data to generate strategic insights and recommend financial products and services to clients -- using Qlik Sense, Apache Hadoop, Hive, Oracle, and SQL; and building interactive visualizations and presentations, using database and visualization tools -- Qlik Sense, Apache Hadoop, Hive, and Oracle SQL.

DE performing advanced statistical analytics to develop, analyze, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms and marketing attribution models -- regression, decision trees/random forest, neural networks, feature selection/reduction, clustering, treatment control matching, Markov Chains and Bayesian Statistics -- using R, Python, and PySpark with specific use cases and applications within the financial services industry.

DE driving analytics and machine learning initiatives -- providing leadership and technical supervision during the implementation and deployment of major advanced analytics and machine learning based projects within a financial services environment; and owning and implementing advanced analytics and machine learning based projects from ideation to implementation including, providing guidance, training, and thought leadership within a financial services environment.
