Position Description:

Creates and supports customer and associate facing bots on multiple channels, using front-end UI technologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) development methods. Creates and implements the capabilities of a virtual assistant on an Agile/Scrum team, using NodeJS, Python, JSON, and Soap/REST Web Services in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Creates intuitive ways for associates and customers to interact with and navigate personal investment product offerings using innovative design and development practices. Creates and supports cutting edge virtual assistant applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participates in discussions, and plans and provides feedback to drive the team and products forward.

Creates technical front-end integrations for human-assisted virtual assistant solutions.

Ensures the customer digital experience and dialogs integrate seamlessly with the associate experience.

Completes and maintains customer content synchronization to ensure customer tasks are completed end-to-end on back-end platforms.

Modifies existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware or improve its performance.

Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, and performance requirements and interfaces.

Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need.

Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programs, and documentations.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience designing and implementing information technology solutions within a financial services operations environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing and implementing information technology solutions within a financial services operations environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) leading a team in an asset management division of a financial service company to develop, deploy, and support critical applications used for the authorization and authentication of portfolio managers and their access to day-to-day portfolio management activities, using Java, Spring framework modules, and AngularJS.

DE developing machine learning models and managing their life cycle of training, testing, validating, and deployment in NodeJS and Python based environments.

DE implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for on-premise and Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Security platforms, using Jenkins, uDeploy, Concourse, Artifactory, and Veracode.

DE implementing user interface applications based on AngularJS and Backbone.js and integrating them with enterprise Active Directory (AD); and managing user-group memberships and streamlining Identity and Access Management (IAM) across enterprise domains using Spring Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
