If so, we want to hear from you!About the RoleOur client is expanding and seeking a highly motivated OM Department Manager to oversee a dynamic team and manage key OM projects.Reporting directly to the Head of OM, you will play a crucial role in refining processes, optimizing OM solutions, and ensuring the effective delivery of proactive obsolescence management strategies.Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop - Manage and mentor a team of OM specialists, ensuring they deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
• Process Improvement - Identify and implement efficiencies within the OM department.
• Project Delivery - Oversee OM projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and international standards (IEC 62402:2019).
• Collaboration - Work across teams to integrate Through Life Support solutions with OM strategies.
• Tech & Tools - Support the development and deployment of OM software applications.
• Best Practices - Stay updated on the latest OM trends and mentor the team in industry best practices.What We're Looking ForProven experience in Obsolescence Management, including planning, mitigation, and proactive processes.Strong knowledge of IEC 62402:2019 and its practical application.Ability to interpret complex Bills of Material and NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) (desirable).Experience working with engineering data and identifying component solutions.Certification with the International Institute of Obsolescence Management (FIIOM/AIIOM) (preferred).Leadership experience - a proven track record of managing small or medium teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Access.Experience in Defence and/or Aerospace sectors is desirable but not essential.Perks & Benefits
