around the world.Here's What You'll Do:Key
ResponsibilitiesCorporate and Business Development
- Work closely with the Finance team to develop financial models
and conduct valuations for potential business development and
portfolio strategic decisions
- Support the development and execution of the business
development strategy for the company. Build relationships with
potential partners, manage due diligence processes, and participate
in deal structuring and negotiations.
- Partner with R&D to create compelling communications
materials to convey the differentiated value proposition for our
programs for partnering and investor discussions
- Support enterprise strategic and operational initiatives as
required
- Maintain up to date competitive analysis for our programs to
inform portfolio decision-making and assess potential business
development opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and
regulatory changesNew Product Planning
- Lead new product planning activities. Conduct new market
assessments and commercial forecasts, collaboratively develop
target product profiles, and establish the value proposition and
value creation trajectory for our programs.
- Understand and communicate requirements for reimbursement and
differentiation to ensure successful commercialization of pipeline
assets
- Identify gaps in internal understanding of target diseases and
collaborate with development and medical to create detailed plans
to address gaps e.g. KOL engagement and/or primary market
research
- Inform the development of forecast assumptions for financial
models
- Provide commercial input for potential business development

Table:
- Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Business Development and
New Product Planning or related roles (e.g. management consulting,
investment banking) within the biotech industry.
- Experience in Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area a plus
- Demonstrated experience across the business development
function, including sourcing, due diligence, and negotiations
- Experience working cross-functionally, including collaboration
with and influencing of program teams
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical development path and
ability to identify operational choices that could bolster
commercial opportunity
- Highly collaborative leader, able to build consensus and drive
results across all levels of the organization.
- Strong business judgement with an analytical mindset and
experience in financial modeling and valuation
- Ability to synthesize findings and clearly articulate
implications from multiple sources of information, including
primary and secondary market research and data, and formulate
strong, supportable recommendations
- Aptitude for understanding scientific concepts related to
research and development
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation
skills
