Title: Business Development Manager u2013 Life Sciences LocalizationLocation: Boston, MAType: Full-TimeAbout the RoleSesen is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the life sciences sector. In this role, youu2019ll lead outreach efforts to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and clinical research organizations seeking expert translation and localization services. Youu2019ll build meaningful client relationships, manage key accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customized, regulatory-aligned language solutions for a global audience.This is a client-facing, revenue-driving role ideal for someone with a consultative sales mindset, industry fluency, and a passion for helping life sciences companies succeed internationally.Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the life sciences sector, including pharma, medtech, biotech, and CROs
• Lead the sales cycle from outreach to close, including prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and contracting
• Develop tailored proposals and guide clients through the RFP/RFI process
• Build and manage long-term client relationships with a focus on growth and retention
• Work closely with project management, linguistic, and engineering teams to scope solutions and deliver exceptional service
• Represent Sesen at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings
• Track pipeline activity and report sales performance using CRM toolsQualifications
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in localization, SaaS, or life sciences
  • Familiarity with translation workflows, TMS platforms, or multilingual content strategies (preferred)
  • Proven success in consultative selling and enterprise relationship building
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Communications, or related fieldWhat We Offer
