Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARYOversee all aspects and phases of a large,
complex project, or multiple projects simultaneously, to ensure
each project is managed effectively to meet schedule, budget,
quality, performance, and client satisfaction requirements.What
you'll do:
- Manage and provide leadership for project teams including
project managers, superintendents, project engineers,
subcontractors, and consultants to successfully secure and complete
projects.
- Participate in pre-construction activities to understand owner
needs, represent the company's capabilities, and help close
potential deals.
- Verify financial forecasts with the company accounting system
and ensure project strategies are clearly defined, communicated,
and implemented during start-up.
- Oversee the development of the initial project schedule,
monitor budget, schedule, and quality throughout the project
lifecycle.
- Lead essential planning activities such as design support,
equipment procurement, commissioning, and QA/QC planning and
execution.
- Establish milestones and assign qualified staff to handle
project scope and complexity.
- Manage risks according to company guidelines, ensuring
corrective actions are taken to meet objectives, and respond
creatively and effectively to challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of project staff, encouraging
growth through mentoring and career development.
- Build effective relationships with customers, design teams,
subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, reflecting
core values: agility, integrity, care, and perseverance.
- Attend owner and project meetings, maintain ongoing client
contact, and communicate relevant information to the project
team.
- Lead final close-out meetings, identify lessons learned, and
document best practices.
- Foster a cohesive, team-oriented environment.
- Perform additional assignments as needed.What you'll need to be
successful:
- Ability to organize people, materials, and equipment, and
successfully manage multiple activities.
- Advanced knowledge of company operations and philosophy.
- Extensive experience with project management systems and
software, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Self-confidence and motivation.

entities.What you bring to the table:
- A 4-year degree in engineering, business administration, or
construction management, or equivalent technical training with
progressive experience in the trades.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical or general
construction operations.
