26, 2025Job Description:As we continue to grow our business, TMC (a
unit of AMETEK Corporation) is seeking a hands-on, results-driven
Director of Operations to lead all aspects of site operations and
drive scalable growth. This role is a key member of the Business
Leadership Team, reporting directly to the DVP - Business
Manager.The Director of Operations will oversee Production, Supply
Chain (buyers, planners, master scheduler), Warehouse & EHS and
Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring operational excellence and a
culture of continuous improvement across the entire value stream.
This individual will be tasked with improving flow, eliminating
bottlenecks, and building lean capabilities to support aggressive
growth targets.Responsibilities
- Oversee all manufacturing and supply chain functions including
production, purchasing, planning, material handling, EHS, Warehouse
and manufacturing engineering.
- Implement and drive Lean principles, including value stream
mapping, flow optimization, Kanban, and bottleneck reduction.
- Build strong daily management systems, visual controls, and a
culture of Gemba, problem-solving, and ownership.
- Partner with Finance and Engineering to align operations with
customer requirements, cost targets, and growth strategy.
- Champion S&OP processes to improve planning accuracy,
production readiness, and shipment reliability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Ensure full utilization and documentation of Microsoft Dynamics
AX ERP across all operational functions.
- Own performance metrics for quality, delivery, safety, cost,
and throughput. Create dashboards to measure and drive
improvement.
- Planning and implementation of LCR (low-cost region strategy)
and GSO (global sourcing organization) activities.
- Planning, implementation and tracking of Operations cost
reduction initiatives.
- Provide accurate weekly shipment forecast.
- Support working capital objectives through inventory
optimization and efficient material flow.
- Plans for Operations capital projects.
- Responsible for the input and maintenance of master
schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement activities across the factory
using LEAN tools including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Gemba and Visual
Management.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, foster talent through
clear accountability, coaching, and succession
planning.Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing
operations, ideally in complex, low-volume, high-mix
environments.
- Proven experience driving Lean transformation and operational
excellence initiatives with measurable impact - preferred prior
lean champion.
- Deep knowledge of production planning, scheduling, material
flow, and supply chain optimization.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and
ability to influence across levels.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; MBA
or MS in Operations/Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus),
and strong data fluency to guide decision-making.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and cross-functional
leadership skills.

- Expand manufacturing capabilities and throughput with a target

operational bottlenecks.
- Shipment linearity and forecast accuracy that meet or exceed
monthly targets.
- Strong succession bench and talent pipeline for operational
