opportunity for a Director, Operations in our Manchester, NH Office
for our Retail Groups Division. As a Director, Operations, you will
identify, develop, and refine internal practices or procedures
relating to CCA Retail Groups programs to maximize the members'
ability to easily participate in corporate programs, receive
excellent service in relation to those programs, reduce their
overall efficiency. You will provide data systems
direction/assistance and any necessary technological input that
would enhance the quality or efficiency of individual programs as
well as day-to-day leadership and management to ensure the
fulfillment of the department's mission and core values. Both short
and long-term strategic planning is also essential to this

Mondays and Fridays and in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays.Our
Director, Operations will:
- Provide Operational Development
- Develop means to track and maintain orderly flow of all Retail
Groups projects and program procedures.
- Identify key project efficiencies, results, and milestones;
execute and implement Retail Groups Projects; and determine
internal and external project resources.
- Oversee inventory reports monitoring inventory, develop systems
for tracking samples and displays ordered for convention,
monitoring sales, and develop systems for tracking mill orders
after convention.
- Set up and oversee all consolidated shipments of major
programs, develop systems to onboard new member stores, and
maintain vendor and cross departmental relationships.
- Provide Departmental Management
- Manage selection of operations department employees
- Manage assigned operations P&L, negotiate contracts with
vendors, review individual project status against budgets &
timelines, and review work against key results criteria.
- Use regular project meetings, document meetings, work,
conversations and decisions and measure quality and effectiveness
of implemented systems/procedures.
- Provide Department Leadership
- Lead Operations Team in collaborative efforts including
planning and execution.
- Delegate tasks effectively and set performance and development
objections as well as lead and drive team to meet deadlines within
budget. Do our requirements match YOUR background?
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, operations or related
field or equivalent combination of education/years of service.
- 5-8 years' experience managing people, programs, and procedures
and at least 5 years' experience developing programs and
procedures.
- Hands-on experience managing, implementing, and multi-tasking
multiple projects and programs.
- Flexible, amenable leader who can establish open, collaborative
processes that involves large numbers of people and potential
clients.
- Innovative developer of procedures, excellent communicator,
trainer, and consensus builder.
- Management, logistics, and operational systems background would
be an asset.
- Home furnishing or floorcovering experience is a plus.
- Excellent computer, Microsoft office; advanced excel
knowledge.
- Superior written, interpersonal, and verbal communications
