Job Description:
Suburban Propane, a leader in the distribution of energy
services, is seeking a seasoned Master Technician to enhance our
technical operations. Based out of our maintenance department, the
ideal candidate will oversee and execute complex maintenance
initiatives, ensure compliance with safety standards, and improve
system efficiencies. This role is pivotal in supporting our promise
of reliable and quality service across residential, commercial,
industrial, and agricultural sectors. Perform advanced diagnostics
and repair of electrical and mechanical systems across multiple
service sites. Lead and mentor teams of junior technicians,
promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Design
and implement rigorous maintenance schedules and procedures to
minimize downtime and enhance system longevity. Collaborate with
engineering and management teams to report on system status, and
recommend upgrades or changes. Ensure strict compliance with
industry standards, environmental laws, and company policies.
Advanced knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems, especially
in energy sector applications. Proven ability to troubleshoot
complex issues and provide actionable solutions. Strong leadership
skills and experience in managing teams. Excellent communication
and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance &
Reliability Technician (CMRT) Professional Engineer (PE) license,
relevant to the specific state of employment Safety certifications
pertinent to the energy sector (e.g., OSHA)
