Our client is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer - Chemicals/Refining
Bachelor
of Science or Master of Science degree in chemistry or chemical
Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
Working
knowledge of precious metal extraction and refining procedures
Working
knowledge of pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processing
operations
Working
knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment operations
---
Working knowledge of inorganic chemistry unit operations and analytical techniques
Ability to do chemical and metallurgical
calculations such as heat balances, mass balances, chemical consumptions,
etc.
---
Ability to write and communicate technical procedures.
5
years of hands-on experience with the unit operations of
hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical extraction and refining
procedures
A
demonstrated ability to manage projects, select chemical process equipment
and prepare process flow diagrams.
At
least 1 year of preparing automatic control schemes.

At least 1 year of designing and operating electrolytic cells

Wastewater License (MA grade 2 or above)
