SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• Providing engineering support for manufacturing of electro-mechanical assembly.
• Playing a key role in the introduction of new product, cost reduction and continuous improvement in our electro-mechanical manufacturing and assembly departments.
• Managing and supporting capital acquisition projects.
• Providing Design for Assembly support during new product development
• Providing assembly process development and training, new product work area layouts, tooling requirements, and assembly fixture designs using lean concepts.
  This is a hands on position requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  To fulfill these responsibilities, we are looking someone with a Bachelors degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years experience covering process engineering in an electro-mechanical environment. Preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering who is willing to work in a fast paced environment.
  
  Candidates will also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with; time study methods; plant layout; materials handling; lean enterprise theory and applications; various CAM data types/formats; strong background in Lean and Six Sigma concepts and application; working knowledge of systematic problem-solving through root cause analysis; process capability and statistical process control methods;design for Manufacturability; Bills of Materials Structure;good working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, CAD; experience with ERP systems; and excellent communications skills - both written and oral.
