AES has been integrating processes and operations in this space and providing services like project management and process design for seven years, we continue to support our clients with out of the box solutions in growing areas. Our client, a global manufacturing enterprise on the east coast in New England, is looking to expand its manufacturing capabilities with a senior level DeltaV automation engineer. If you are currently on the east coast looking for a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, keep reading AES is seeking a mid to senior level Automation engineer (4-10 years) who can plan, execute and test the functionality of the automated production process (e.g. recipe, EM, CM configuration and sequencing) with significant experience in DeltaV. Some experience in I/O troubleshooting and configuration in DeltaV is preferable as well as understanding DeltaV infrastructure. You will support the standardization and optimization of the automated production process and are jointly responsible for knowledge transfer and effective decision making within the team. Key responsibilities: Support Lab equipment software and configuration changes Monitor the functionality of the automated production process and resolve deviations. Troubleshoot I/O issues which could be related to communication, electrical, or controls configuration. Support ongoing equipment migration and integration to new platforms/systems Create, modify/optimize or supervise recipes from DCS and/or MES (e.g. Process and CIP/SIP) Update cGMP-compliant documentation (eMBR; SOP; operating regulations, etc.) in cooperation with the Bioprocess engineer, Plant Lead and with MSAT. Support and align the product and production-specific requirements in cooperation with the responsible plant team and with the global and local engineering team Key requirements: Expertise in the area of Bioprocess Automation (OT, DeltaV, MES Syncade) Recognizing risks in relation to security or compliance / Good GMP knowledge / GAMP Background in biotech processing (such as fermentation, purification, CIP, and SIP) and GMP fundamentals and change control is necessary. Structured, focused and well organized work ethic. Solution orientated and Open-minded for new ideas Impeccable team and social skills, very good understanding of IT / process control systems. A view for operational optimization potential. Ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels; strong business understanding and strong team orientation MES/Syncade experience is a plus.
