Background teaching Math or Science content at the middle or high

informed environment Special ed licensure (preferably moderate
disabilities 5-12) is the priority. Curriculum area licensure would
be great but we are willing to move forward with a candidate who
holds moderate disabilities licensure and is open to teaching the
identified subject area. It would be a one teacher per subject
situation Schedule and population served (moderate academic needs,
primary emotional as qualifying disability for special education
services) are accurate. Additionally worth noting that we are a 220
setting with a structured summer term in July and August. The model
is self-contained, with assistance from TA’s and therapeutic
support staff available. Teachers are responsible for only their
content area, so the individual contracted would only be
responsible for development and delivery of their particular
curriculum. That said, in a situation where there was absence or a
need for coverage for a class period, teachers can be asked to act
as a substitute and deliver a prepared sub plan.
