The Role In this collaborative leadership position, you will work side-by-side with our Executive Director, receiving direct guidance and mentorship while helping to shape the future of our program. Duties Key Responsibilities: Leadership Support: Work closely with the Executive Director on daily operations and strategic planning. Office Administrative Tasks: Assist with essential office duties, including record-keeping, scheduling, and managing staff coverage. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to our passionate classroom teachers to ensure a high-quality curriculum. Community Engagement: Represent the center in local networking circles and foster strong relationships with families and community partners. Directorial Duties: Step in to manage center operations in the absence of the Executive Director. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Is at least 20 years of age, is a high school graduate or has completed their GED and has one of the following qualifications: An associate degree with a major or concentration in Early Childhood, Child and Human Development, Elementary Education, Child and Family Services or Related Field Minimum one year of experience working with children grade 3 and younger Ability to relate well with children Understanding of curriculum and child development Nice To Haves Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Medication Administration Benefits Paid Time Off Holidays Sick Time Vacation Time Professional Development Dental Vision Child Care Discount
