We help youth, ages 8-21 years of age learn social skills, succeed in school, and learn to enjoy recreational experiences. Our students volunteer in the community and our staff give them many rich learning experiences. Responsibilities: The individual in this key role will implement classroom programming to meet the educational, social and vocational needs of students with disabilities. Student populations range from students with Autism and other neurobehavioral challenges to students with mild cognitive impairments and students with social/emotional disabilities. Specific responsibilities include designing a classroom environment that is motivating and stimulating, lesson planning and implementation, supervising paraprofessionals, and gathering and reporting data on student progress. Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with Certification in Special Education, or have passed the praxis with a letter of eligibility for Special Education. Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and reliable. Hours: This is a year round, full time position. What's in it for you?
