have an immediate need for a Grant Accountant in Manchester, NH!The
successful candidate will be the dedicated business partner to
various programs and departments by providing key information and
analysis. This position will work closely with the Grant Manager to
gain comprehensive understanding of grant writing, budget
preparation and analysis.Essential Responsibilities
- Provide business support and partnership to Vice Presidents,
budget managers and programs for relevant financial analysis,
forecasting and metrics for benchmarking and assessing financial
viability.
- Serve as business partner to align financial needs of programs
with business functions and to manage finance related activities,
including budget development and oversight to monitor and enhance
financial performance.
- Manage projects and project teams to perform financial
assessment with appropriate financial reports to include written
discussion and analyses.
- Develop business proposals with proformas and analyses.
- Participate in due diligence efforts for new initiatives,
service growth and mergers and acquisitions.
- Work with Program staff and grant writer to create budgets and
submit applications.
- Manage the process for federal, state and private grants,
including expense tracking, financial reporting, and
reconciliations.
- Work with the auditors to provide support for grant spend in
accordance with applicable federal guidelines, A-133, and Uniform
Guidance.
- Professionally represent the organization, clearly
communicating our mission, philosophy, values, goals and
expectations, internally and externally.
- Work in collaboration with accounting, administrative, program
and development staff to ensure effective financial reporting and
processes. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business field, MBA preferred
- At least seven years' experience in business administration to
include grant management or cost accounting and rate reimbursement
a plus
- Nonprofit, health care or human services background
preferred
- Strong background in financial analysis, business and project
management and business writing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to
customer focus
- Proficient in use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Hours : This
is a full time (40 hours/week), salaried position Compensation :
Beginning at $65,000 / year, depending on qualifications and
