Participates in personalization efforts using Data Lake Design
patterns-- Raw, Normalized, and Curated layers. Ensures safe and
secure treatment of the enterprise, client, and customer data in
the public cloud with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity
teams. Designs, develops, and modifies complex and major software
systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to
predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Primary Responsibilities: Communicates and collaborates with stakeholders to accelerate
customer personalization journeys. Resolves technical issues, and creates standards and strategies
related to personalization. Represents business unit across the enterprise. Consults on development and major technology initiatives for the
business unit. Consults on deployment of major project deliverables. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional or
company architecture components. Sets visions, goals, and direction of team/organization. Plans and leads organization wide initiatives. Develops and executes personalization and analytics
strategies. Contributes to personalization and analytics solutions, a
cross-business unit effort to advance customer and client
journeys. Builds data platforms to provide curated and personalized
experiences for internal associates using data analytics platforms
across multiple enterprise systems. Cultivates relationships with Information Technology (IT) and
business partners. Regularly provides guidance, training, and coaching to other
team members for performance and career development. Modifies existing software to correct errors, allowing them to
adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine
feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Designs systems and obtains information on project limitations
and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
leading and building highly scalable, Cloud-native, event-driven,
micro-service architecture for data platforms. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience leading and building highly
scalable, Cloud-native, event-driven, micro-service architecture
for data platforms. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing architecture design --
developing and providing guidance to implement a high-performant
and scalable recommendation engine that serves personalized content
across Workplace Investing (WI) channels on Amazon Web Services
(AWS), using Drools, EKS, Sagemaker, Spark, S3, Lambda, Cassandra,
Kafka, and Java. DE acting as a member of a team responsible for implementing
data lake strategies to leverage Snowflake as a platform for
structured and semi-structured data; and building and formulating
data lake design patterns for data ingestion, processing, and
extraction for personalization teams, using Snowflake, SQL, Python,
Apache airflow, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudFormation, Jenkins, and
Datadog. DE building WI AI/ML platforms -- creating model ready feature
database stores in Snowflake; building and deploying supervised and
deep learning AI/ML models, using Sagemaker, EKS, AWS Lambda, and
Python; recommending content to drive click-rates using AI/ML
libraries and algorithms -- Multi- Arm Bandit, Champion-Challenger,
and user-based similarity model; and querying AWS Neptune graph
database that store complex customer attribute relationships using
Apache Gremlin. DE performing data analytics -- designing and building
measurement analytical platforms that view recommendation success
in real time and measure drift and decay -- using Sagemaker,
